Our second installment of “What’s In My Kit” covers the styling tools you’ll receive as a student at Amber’s Beauty School. These five tools are essential for creating perfect styles, both on your mannequin and on the clinic floor. As a student, you’ll use at least one of these tools every day!
Your GVP Pro 1800 Hair Dryer comes with diffuser and concentrator attachments to create the perfect look. It uses ceramic and tourmaline coating to create negative ions and infra-red heat for healthy, shiny hair. Plus, it’s lightweight, so you can style without getting tired arms!
The GVP Ionic 1″ ceramic straightening iron has adjustable temperature settings to tailor specifically to your client’s needs. It adds shine and reduces frizz, and it’s got an awesome automatic shut off feature for those super busy days.
You’ll receive three different Helen of Troy curling irons: a 3/4″ Marcel iron, and a 1″ and a 1/2″ spring clip iron. They’re all gold-plated, and the variance in size means you’ll be able to create and experiment with different styles.
Our instructors will teach you the best way to use each tool, and you’ll have plenty of time to perfect your technique with our hands-on learning style.
