Amber’s Beauty School is looking for a full-time or part-time instructor.
Description of Duties:
-Prepare and present daily lecture and lab lessons, as outlined in the curriculum
-Track and advise students on academic and personal progress
-Supervise daily tasks and activities of students
-Ensure safe and sanitary practices on clinic floor
-Manage clinic floor; counsel and guide students to achieve client satisfaction
-Attend weekly team meetings
-Participate in special events such as Style Parties, Career Fairs, Student Recognition, etc.
-Project a professional image and demeanor at all times
Desired Skills & Experience:
-Must have current Cosmetology Instructor License
-Minimum of 1 year of salon experience
-Excellent technical hairdressing, color, and cosmetology skills
-Knowledge of State Board procedures
-Ability to lead and solve problems
-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
